We are proud to offer an excellent new service powered by eSebco to all our young readers. Read over 100+ children's and teen eBooks online or on your mobile device anywhere, any time, and for free!

Get started by clicking the banner above, enter the username "haverstraw" and password "public" (password is not case sensitive and please remove quotes when entering username and password), enter your 14 digit Haverstraw Library card number, and finally, enter your name. Once logged in, you can read eBooks by reading level, grade level, or subject with more being added every day!

Turn on your speakers and the eBooks may be read to you! Replay, fast-forward, or read the eBook on your own. Want to read on the go? Download the eSebco app here. Open the app in your mobile device and follow the instructions above. Once an eBook is downloaded to your phone, internet connection is not needed. Access eBooks at any time!

We're teaching kids the language of the future in this club for 4th-7th graders. Using Code.org, Angry Birds, and a little imagination, kids will get familiar with the building blocks of writing code in Javascript. Meets twice a month. Registration begins one week before program for everyone.

This program is designed to improve English literacy skills through the use of photography and personal narratives. For families with 4th-7th graders. Are you a K-6 student in the North Rockland Central School District who needs help with homework? Get some Homework Help at the main library. Hours are Mondays, 6 pm - 8 pm and Wednesdays, 6 pm - 7:30 pm. To check in, please come to the Children's Desk. No appointments necessary! For more information, check out our flyer.

Comics Plus Library Edition

Read Comics Online at the Library for Free!

Come and read over 100 comic books at the Library using Comics Plus: Library Edition! Featuring top publishers and creators such as Archie Comics, IDW Publishing, Dynamite Entertainment, Image Comics, Red 5 Comics and more.

Start off by creating an account. Enter your email address and a password. Once logged in, you may browse the library, select a publisher or search for titles, and check out comics you want to read. Checked out titles will appear in your shelf which will be available for you to read for seven days. Expired comics will automatically check themselves in and you may borrow more comics afterwards.
